LA28 and the Los Angeles Rams have started a new chapter in Olympic ticket access. The two organizations named the first ten recipients of the Community Ticket Program on July 27. Together, they will share 1,000 free tickets to the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This LA Rams gift of tickets comes directly from the team’s inaugural $5 million donation to the program. LA Rams Gift Tickets to Local Youth Organizations
The Rams’ donation launched the program in November 2025. This gift marked the founding contribution to LA28’s Community Ticket Program. Now, the program invites teams and philanthropists to fund tickets for local nonprofits. The goal is simple. Everyday Angelenos should experience the Olympic and Paralympic Games without worrying about cost.
Reynold Hoover, LA28’s Chief Executive Officer, explained why this moment matters so much.
“Thanks to the Rams’ generosity, we’re proud to put that investment directly into the hands of the community organizations that make this region great, and this is just the beginning. Seeing these tickets go to 10 incredible organizations is exactly what this program was built for, making sure Angelenos have the chance to be part of this historic moment.”
Because of this partnership, ten organizations will now distribute tickets directly to their members. This approach ensures tickets reach families who might otherwise miss the Games entirely.

Ten Organizations Named as First Recipients
LA28 and the Rams selected ten Los Angeles nonprofits for the program’s first round of tickets. Each organization has a strong history of supporting youth in the region. The recipients include the following groups:
- A Place Called Home
- After-School All-Stars
- Al Wooten Jr. Youth Center
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro LA
- Brotherhood Crusade
- Heart of Los Angeles
- Project Blue
- Social Justice Learning Institute
- Swim Up Hill
- YMCA of Metro LA
Each group will hand out tickets within its own membership. Because of this direct distribution, tickets will reach residents who might not otherwise attend the Games.
Flag Football and Swimming Take the Spotlight
Recipients will attend one of two events. Flag Football will make its Olympic debut in 2028, giving fans a first look at the sport on this stage. Swimming will take place at 2028 Stadium, the venue the Rams call home.
Rams Owner and Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke built 2028 Stadium as the anchor of his 300 acre Hollywood Park development. The stadium will host the Opening Ceremonies before it transforms into the largest Olympic swimming venue in history. This change shows how Los Angeles plans to reuse existing venues instead of building new ones.

Kevin Demoff, President of the Los Angeles Rams, shared his excitement about the partnership.
